• Each participant must complete the registration form by the March 14, 2024, deadline.
• Ages 5 – 16, boys and girls, may register to participate in Hifdh (memorization).
• Participants may choose to compete in a group above their ages, but not below their ages.
• Please arrive promptly on the day of the competition, dressed in appropriate Islamic outfit.
• On the day of the competition, you will be asked to recite two Surahs which the judges will choose from your group.
• Participants must raise his/her voice and recite clearly.
• Participants are evaluated based on their memorization (recitation by heart), pronunciation, clear and accurate memorization of the selections, and continuous flow of recitation.
• In case of a tie for 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd positions, judges may ask participants to recite another Surah.
• Prizes will be awarded to the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd positions from each group.
